Who is Spike?
Spike is our big, red octopus mascot who kids love! He comes and plays the board games with the children.
What are our board games?
Spike’s Sight Words are a series of award-winning educational board games to help children learn and practise their reading. Nominated for a British Dyslexia Assocation Award and Winner of ‘Best Education Support Program, our board games are now being used in schools across the UK.
What does the visit entail?
Spike will come along, play the board games with the children and encourage them to practise reading in a fun, engaging way. It’s bound to be a real hit for the library and the kids!
What is the cost?
