We were SO excited about making the shortlist for this award as it was the first time we had made it! We are shortlisted for – Educational Resource Provider of the Year. We are up against some amazing companies here but we’re proud of what we are achieving! Wish us luck!
We have some news that we’re still trying to wrap our heads around: Spike’s Sight Words has been nominated for the Primary Resource of the Year Award! To be completely honest, the nomination caught us totally off guard—we didn’t even know we were in the running until the shortlist was announced. Seeing our passion project recognised alongside such incredible educational resources is an absolute dream. We are beyond excited (and a little bit nervous!) to head to the awards ceremony and celebrate the impact that play-based literacy is having in classrooms. Thank you to everyone who has supported Spike’s journey so far!
What a wonderful award this was to be nominated for. The Awards evening was held in Birmingham and it was full of fun and truly inspirational people who help better the lives of children in various ways.
Although, I couldn’t make the Award ceremony for these Awards, it was a real honour to hear that Spike’s Sight Words came second and achieved a ‘Highly Commended’.
We WON! This award will always mean the most to me as it is the first one we ever won! Not only that, I promised my late father that I would dedicate my first award to him. Really good to see we were recognised as the ‘Best Education Support Program’ in the UK.
Well done Spike for being a finalist!
We were up against some big companies here but Spike should still be very proud to be nominated for such a prestigious Educational award. Bring on 2025!
